Richard Paul Diaz (1974)

My brother Bob did start out in radio and then television at WTVM in Columbus, Ga. He moved to Clearwater, later to Palm Harbor, Fl.   In Florida he started and owned a company called Crew Line. He crewed many professional sporting events including The Masters, Goodwill Games in Russia, Olympics, Tampa Bay Buccaneer, Tampa Bay Devil Rays as well as many others.  Bob was the lead singer in a band called Angela's Mustache when he was in school.  He had also won an Emmy since he has been in Florida. My brother will be missed very much by many especially his family.  I want to thank all of you for the kind words about Bob. He had many friends which it shows here after all these years. Thank you so much.  Richard Paul Diaz, BHS 74.

My heartfelt condolences to the Diaz family. Sadden to read of Bob's passing. He was year ahead of me in school. Remember hanging out with him during breaks in the court yard, Sometimes he would carry my books and walk me to my next class. I remember Bob as being sweet and a true gentleman.

I didn't know Bob at Baker but remember him from his production days in TV. He was a great guy to work with and had a great sense of humor as well as being very talented and creative.

I boarded a plane in Tampa several years back and heard a voice say, "Hi Acy!"  I turned and there sat Bob...we chatted a few moments as we had not seen each other in many years...like 1969!  Bob was a great guy....I was shocked to hear of his passing. May he RIP and we shall all see him again in the next world!

Marsha Sue Brown (Rhodes) (1969)

I remember Bob fondly  from senior englsh class.  I am sorry to hear of his passing.  I haven't been on this site for a long while.  He used to glance at my vocab. test so he wouldn't have to study.  This is the only time I have ever let someone copy my work. I learned my lesson and apparently he didn't need the help in the long run..
