Henry Nathaniel Bynum February 12, 1936 - December 19, 2009 COLUMBUS, GA— Mr. Henry Nathaniel Bynum, 73, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, December 19, 2009 following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with the Revs. Jerry Speer and Malcolm Dyson officiating. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Macon Road. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road. Mr. Bynum was born February 12, 1936 in Geneva County, AL to the late Taft and Viola Register Bynum. Mr. Bynum was the owner and operator of Swift Finance for over 40 years here in Columbus. He graduated from Baker High School in 1954 and also served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. He also attended Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include; his sons, Mark Bynum, Lilburn, GA, Andrew Bynum, Columbus, GA; his daughter, Natalie Konkle, (Robert), Columbus, GA; granddaughter, Olivia Bynum, Atlanta, GA; niece, Julia Bynum, Parrish, FL.
