Mary Jo Prestwood Todd Carr

Columbus, GA- Mary Jo Prestwood Todd Carr, 80, of Columbus, GA died Monday, January 20, 2014 at Muscogee Manor.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M Thursday, January 23, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Frank Macon officiating. A private interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Carr was born March 8, 1933 in Ingleside, TX, daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Bettie Leatherwood Prestwood. She was a 1950 graduate of Baker High School and retired from Southern Bell. Mrs. Carr was a Baptist by faith.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl H. Carr and a brother, Andrew Ray Prestwood.
Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Joyce Jones (C.C.) of Hamilton, GA; a son, Andrew Steven Todd (Connie) of Winter Garden, FL; two sisters, Clara Chambers (Grady) and Betty King (O.B.); four grandchildren, Steven D. Flatt, Christopher T. Flatt, Sean Ferrall, and Anthony J. Todd; and several great grandchldren.
