William Daniel LeJune
December 16, 1934 - December 21, 2017

William Daniel "Danny" LeJune, 83, of Lagrange, GA passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017 following a brief illness. The family will welcome guests for visitation Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby 47071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, from 12:00 until 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Danny's Life will begin at 2:00 pm in Edgewood Hall, followed by a Committal Service in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, on Double Churches Road with Archbishop Ken McNatt and Bishop Adam McNatt officiating.
Mr. LeJune was born December 16, 1934 in Columbus, GA to his late parents Clovis and Ruby Nell LeJune. After High School, he attended Auburn University. Danny served his Country well as a Military Policeman, in both the Air Force and Army, during the Korean Conflict. Upon leaving the military he started his career and work his way up into Management in UNYIS Corporation. Mr. LeJune was an avid sportsman and loved all sports, especially football. He owned and operated Glenn Alta Hunting Club, and enjoyed traveling to different areas to Hunt and Fish. Danny was a member of Kings Pasture Christian Center and one of his greatest pleasures was gathering with his large family that he loved and they loved him. He will be sorely missed.
Along with his parents, Mr. LeJune is preceded in death by: his brother, Joseph "Butch" Allen LeJune; and, his sister, Alicia House. He is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Shirley Green LeJune; two sons, Archbishop Ken (Sandy) McNatt, and Clovis Allen LeJune; four daughters, Wynett (Lenny) Heacock, Denise Byrd, Tracy (Randall) Laws, and Robin (Kimmy) Jackson; thirteen grandchildren, Bishop Adam McNatt, Reverend Aaron McNatt, Arek McNatt, Brett Ryan Heacock, Ashley Sorrells, Kyle Byrd, Lindsey Byrd, Lane Byrd, Kattie Viggins, Tory Ryan Viggins, Brittney Crane and Torey Livesay; seventeen great grandchildren, Vanessa Willard, Jewell McNatt, Allison McNatt, Morgan McNatt, Macy McNatt, Mallie McNatt, Arek McNatt, Jr., Asher McNatt, Allistar McNatt, Aranessa McNatt, Madison Thompson, Jesse Cruz, Jaxson Cruz, Payton Lord, Marly Sorrells, Charlee Sorrells and Paxton Byrd; nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.

NOTE: Danny was on the 1953 ROTC Rifle team.
