Janet was a good friend while I attended BHS. She did not have the opportunity to graduate with the rest of the class, but I added her to our class so she would be remembered. She was killed in a tragic water skiing accident during our sophomore year. I have never forgotten that day and I will never forget her. God bless her family.

I'm so glad to see Janet included in our class. I remember vividly hearing about her death. I have certainly kept her memory in my heart.

Her funeral was my first and so difficult. We were good friends and I could not believe she was gone. I still remember her mom, dad, and brother Brian and their sense of loss. Of all the people I knew at that time, she was one of the kindest, most unaffected, and comfortable with herself. I have her obituary in my yearbook, promising myself to never forget her.

Janet was my very best friend, we did everything together. We lived down the street from each other and spent many hours at each others houses. She is a very dear friend to me, more like my siter, I loved her dearly and think about her always. I will always keep Janet and her family in my heart. I have pictures Janet drew for me when we grew up. She definetly was one of the most caring, loving people I have ever know, she is always in my heart.

I remember returning to school after the summer break and finding out that Janet had died.  My sister and I were in shock.  She was such a beautiful person-physically and in her personality.  Her death was such a tragedy for her family and all of us who knew her. I think it helped my family understand how fragile life really is.
