Reginald Jenkins

Mr. Reginald Jerome Jenkins transitioned home Saturday at his residence at 65 years of age.
The beloved son of Mrs. Margaret Stewart Jenkins of Columbus and the late Sgt. Frank Jenkins, Reginald was born in Texarkana, AK and was a 1974 graduate of Baker High School in Columbus. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from Clark Atlanta University and was employed as an educator with the Bibb County Schools. He was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He was also a U. S. Marine Veteran.

Surviving other than his mother, are: two children, Chantel N. Montgomery (Monte) and John M. Jenkins; one grandchild; two sisters, Orsuliec M. Larry and Porschia Sumlin (Brandon); a niece, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

The Memorial Celebration will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Metropolitan Baptist Church with Pastor Curtis Crocker officiating. Expression can be made online at progressivefuneralhome.com. Arrangements are entrusted to the Progressive Funeral Home staff.
