Columbus, Georgia- Brenda Rainer Richardson, 68, of Columbus, GA passed away early Sunday morning.
Funeral services will be Wednesday July 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Columbus with Reverend (Dr.) Ray Cummings officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Brenda R. Richardson was born in Columbus, GA on November 6, 1944 to the late Thomas C. Rainer and Ollie M. Rainer. She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany McCaffrey and her husband David of Phenix City, AL; son, Shaun Richardson of Smiths, AL; granddaughter, Alexis Richardson and grandson, Austin McCaffrey; sister, Etta LaVerne Scofield of Panama City, FL; two nieces, Debbie Watson and Stacie Thompson of Panama City, FL and 5 great-nieces and nephews.
Brenda was a member of Golden Acres Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL. She was a creative, fun-loving person who enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. Brenda loved the Lord, and her faith throughout her illness was a true inspiration to those around her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
