Clyde Wood, 73, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, June 21, 2014 in the chapel of Hart’s at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Jack Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Family will greet friends between 5:00-7:00PM on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Cupola.

Clyde was a co-owner of Lamps by Ingleside after retiring from Law Engineering and Testing. He was an avid golfer and lover of Ford show cars. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Tennie Wood; and son, Mark Wood.

Clyde is survived by his son, Philip Wood (Ciaran) of Atlanta, Georgia; daughter, Allison Wilson (John) of Grantville, Georgia; six grandchildren, Whitney Christine Wood of Florida, Jason Philip Wood (Christian) of Okinawa, Japan, Sydney Wilson of Grantville, Georgia, Jay Wilson of Grantville, Georgia, Katie Wood of Newnan, Georgia, and Jeremy Wood of Elberton, Georgia; great grandchild, Jet Miller of Newnan, Georgia; four sisters, Barbara Ann Smith of Lanett, Alabama, Kay (Wood) Neal, BHS 1962 of Macon, Georgia, Doris Howard (James) of Columbus, Georgia, and Mary Lou Owens (Jerry) of Macon, Georgia; two step-grandsons, Chase Brady and Shane Brady, both of Acworth, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
