Newton, AL - Mrs. Julianne Schenker Adams, a resident of Newton, died Thursday, August 19, 2021, in a Dothan hospital. She was 65.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned at this time. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Adams, daughter of the late Charles Raymond Hudson and Elizabeth Preston Dubose, was a native of Ozark. She was a Registered Nurse having worked in trauma care and emergency room for forty years. Mrs. Adams also owned and operated her own crafting business for many years. She travelled the world as a military wife and raised three children while working full time. Mrs. Adams hobbies included painting, crafting, reading, bowling, and watching Sci-fi and Christmas movies. She was an animal lover who was often referred to as the cat whisperer. Mrs. Adams loved listening to Barry Manilow. She was Christian by faith who loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Amanda Victoria Fry (Adams) and Andrea Melissa Adams; a son, Billy Jack Adams, II; many extended family members whom she loved dearly.
