Britton M. "Britt" Ware, Jr., Class of '53-Deceased: April 2, 2005.
Britt attended Baker in the early '50's; his family moved to Japan prior to graduation. Brit retired from the United States Air Force after serving his country for more than twenty years.
Britt died in April, 2005 at the age of 70, in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his wife Susie of New Braunfels, Texas; two sons, Britton M. Ware III and Liz of New Braunfels, Stephen M. Ware and wife Frances of Houston, Texas; daughter Chris Steubing and husband Sidney of Hondo, Texas; grandchildren Britton M. Ware IV, Jonathan Tyler Ware, Stephen M. Ware Jr., and Dustin B. Ware. Britt is buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

I knew Britt through David Wilson; they were good friends, and Dave and I were best friends. Britt dated Liz Cleveland when I knew him. I worked for his Dad at Hofflin & Greentree one summer. Britt was a great guy.
I called Britt in San Antonio to tell him Dave died in 1983.
