Bill Foreman

William “Bill” Lee Foreman, 61, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, January 15, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Scott Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Foreman was born July 21, 1955 in Columbus, GA son of the late Martin Luther Foreman and Hazel Josephine Flournoy Foreman. He worked as a Messaging Systems Lead at TSYS. Mr. Foreman was active at St. Mark United Methodist Church. He was an avid cyclist logging 3,000 miles in 2016. He cycled across the state of Florida with Pedaling for Kids and was also a member of the Crankin Carbon Cycling Team. 

He was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan, photographer, and he loved music and cooking out. 

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Donna L. Foreman. Survivors include his son, Michael Foreman, brother, Joel Martin Foreman (Sue), sister-in-law, Nancy Mitchell (Huey), special friends, Kathy English and family all of Columbus, GA, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Pedaling for Kids P.O. Box 1776 Fortson, GA 31808.

Bill was a good friend who was my neighbor all the way through elementary to high school. I remember him fondly and will be praying for God's peace, comfort and understanding for the family.
