I met Debbie in the late "70's". Debbie, my sister Jacqui (class of "74") and my brother Ray (class of "72") flew out to California and spent a week with us. We did all the "tourist" things - San Francico's Fisherman's Wharf and Cable Cars, Reno's one-armed bandits, Santa Cruz's boardwalk, and of course the Redwood Forest. We enjoyed her company and remember Debbie as a very pleasant person. Sorry to hear of her passing.

I was married to Debra's first cousin Lisa Cannington. Her brother Ralph and I were classmates. Debra was a beautiful woman and a very kind hearted person. I had the utmost respect for her and her family.

Debbie and I became best friends in Junior High School and remained friends throughout high school. Although I lost touch with her after that, except for reunions,I will always remember her gentle spirit, infectious laugh and beautiful smile! And, of course, who coud forget that incredible red hair!

I feel blessed to have seen her at a class reunion prior to her death and having fun reminiscing and catching up. She was the same bubbly person I remembered from my youth and very happy at the time!

I will cherish her memory and miss her always! God bless and keep you, Debbie Dunahoo!

My dearest Debbie Dunahoo.................it's so hard to believe that your gone from the face of the earth but yet live on in our heart memories forever. You were like the rose of sharon, with that lovely red long hair and had the face of an angel to match! I remember the first time my parents and your parents came together at this military function and we met! I told my mother that you were the first pretty red head girl that I had ever seen. And your personality was so sweet. You had a friendly bubbly voice to match. You were a true friend. I had seen your father a couple of days ago with my mom & dad, at another family friends funeral, and it reminded me of you and the fondest memories of our teenager years flooded my heart. I hope your brother Andy is doing better these days. You will always be remembered for your true sweetness and loving kindness to others. Someday my friend we will see each other again.God bless you family always!

I was very saddened to hear about Debbie's death. I had classes with her and remember how sweet she was and I admired her clothes. Many of them were home made by her mother and they were absolutely beautiful. I also wore home sewn clothes but nother ever as nice as hers. I will always remember her as a good friend and classmate. May God bless her family always.
