Wow, David was one of my best friends in High School. Always wondered where he'd gone. Sad that he is actually gone.

Sorry to learn of David's passing albeit many years late. My sympathy to those whose lives he touched and who feel his loss to this day I'm sure.

'My condolences extended to Dave's wife and family for his untimely and relatively early death (only leaned about it recently due to this BHS site). He was obviously the smartest math student in any of my middle school and high school math (and physics) classes, but he never made a big deal of his obvious academic talents. I most enjoyed --and shared--his interest in writing science fiction short stories. I wonder if he was able to ever have any published? If so, would love to read them. Spent some relaxing time with him along with other high school friends in an after school game "club", too. I am thankful  to having known him "way back when", and very saddend that are paths never crossed again after HS graduation.

So sorry to hear of David's passing...As Randy eloquently stated, David was a soft-spoken gentleman that was always at the top of the class, one of the smartest people I've ever met. Privilege to have known him, condolences to his Family.
