Clayton Davis September 4,2010 BYRON, GA— Clayton Davis, 69, died Saturday, September 4,2010. Services will be held at 2PM on Thursday,September 9,2010,at Byron Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Fortson officiating.Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens in Warner Robins. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8:30PM on Wednesday,September 8,2010,at Rooks Funeral Home in Byron. A native of Columbus, Mr.Davis was a retired computer technician with Motorola. Survivors include his wife of 48 years,Esther R.Davis of Byron,their children, Melinda Davis of Atlanta and Clay and Kimberly Davis of Atlanta, grandchildren, Stephen Davis and Rebecca Davis of Atlanta, mother, Virginia Davis of Covington, and a brother, Bill Davis and his wife Denise of Conyers. He is preceded in death by his father,Walter Massey Davis and a brother, Drew Davis. Rooks Funeral Home in Byron is in charge of arrangements.
