Laverne Chambers Robinson was born September 19, 1955 in Fort. Banning GA to the late Jimmie and Florence Chambers. Laverne passed Friday January 13, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Hollywood; Fl. Laverne was a 1973 graduate of Baker High. Laverne attended St. Thomas University in Miami, FL and graduated with her BS Degree in 1998. She was also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta and a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Joe C. Johnson and a dedicated member of the Circle Four Ministry. It was in Florida where Laverne met and married the love of her life the late David Danny Robinson. Laverne was preceded in death by two sisters Janice Chambers Gray and Constance Chambers Pollard. Services were held at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church Hallandale, FL. Rev. Joe C. Johnson Pastor/Eulogist A.J. Manuel Funeral Home Directing, and Interment Hallandale Beach Cemetery. Those left to cherish her memories are her loving and caring son Daniel Robinson: stepchildren Cedric Robinson and Demetrio Robinson, her sister Annette Mays (John) of Tennessee, two grandsons Jamal Robinson and Johnny Tusa of Miami, FL, aunt Mildred Chambers of Columbus, GA, uncle Curtis Thompson of Columbus, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
