Juanita Golden Supan, 91, of Columbus, GA passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at The Columbus Hospice House.
A visitation for family and friends was held from 10:00 - 11:00 am Thursday, December 23, 2021 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with funeral services at 11:00 am with the Rev. Tim Jones of Britt David Baptist Church officiating. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery
Mrs. Supan was born February 10, 1930 in Phenix City, AL, daughter of the late Willie Clyde Golden and Jessie Rochelle Culverhouse Golden. A proud 1947 graduate of Baker High School, she retired from Sears after 30 years of service. Mrs. Supan was a founding member of Britt David Baptist Church and active in the church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Lavern Edward Supan, son Lavern Jr., and sister Gaynelle.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Supan (Buddy) of Fortson, GA and Sandra Parker (Rudy) of West Point, GA, her grandchildren Mandee Supan-Rollins of Fortson, GA, Keith Parker (Tiffany) of Columbus, GA, Christie Holmes (Virgil) of Sugar Hill, GA, Eddie Supan (Abby) of Phenix City, AL, and Melissa Salewski (Jeremy) of Columbus, GA, nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. We especially thank great-niece Jessica Geter for all her help and kindness during our time of need.
