Mrs. Weaver was my Algebra teacher. I thought she invited math...I spent summers in her classes in Alg II and Trig. If not for her and her patience and persistence to help us metal heads, I doubt college would have ever come to pass. Thank You Ms Weaver.

I had Mrs. Weaver for alegebra. A more gentle, refined person could never exist. She was a great teacher. I looked up to her as a role model.

Mrs. Weaver was my algebra teacher, and she had to have been one of the most patient human beings ever.
Somehow, the unfocused energy that some of us kids exhibited never flustered her in the least.
And I will always remember her gentle admonition to anyone caught in the act, "Now, please spit your gum out..."

I remember Mrs. Dawkins looking at me often, saying, "Olivia, you're daydreaming again..." and then she would go on with the Algebra lesson. I did love her class!

Mrs. Weaver was indeed one of the sweetest humans ever. In her sophomore class, I became the unwitting cause of a minor disturbance. I raised my hand in class to be excused. When I returned, Bill Bagley asked quietly "Ewell, everything come out all right?" Chorus of guffaws followed from other classmates, which included Bill Callahan, Mike Cofer, and others. Mrs. Weaver realized that I was not the "direct" source of the disturbance!

When I became the 1960 S.T.A.R. student, I picked Mrs. Weaver as my S.T.A.R. teacher. The last decent math grades I ever made were in her Algebra II class.
