One of the finest teachers anywhere. I've never known a student that had him, that didn't love him. He was a wonderful man, willing to help in any way that he could. You will be missed. Rest in peace. And God bless you.

Charlie may have been a great teacher, but he was an even greater friend.

What a loss to humanity, a person of fun, love and a true nerd in the best way, I was and am proud to have called him Mr. L. in school and as we communicated over the years friend. He made us better, may we each leave the world with half the good that he gave to us.

I can not tell you how many times over the years I have thought about Mr. Liner.  He made such an impact on my life.  Now, I wish I'd taken a few minutes sat down, looked him up, and told him those words.  He was just one of those teachers that over 35 (who is counting) years later, I still remember.  His Eco Club activities made a huge difference the way I looked at the evironment.  He made science one of my favorite subjects. Although, I was always absent when we dissected. (ugh!) He made a difference I'm sure to thousands and thousands of students.  I'm so glad, he was my teacher for a few years.

A special teacher who loved and was loved by his students.

I enjoyed working with him.  The snakes kept us alert and

laughing.  Blessings to his family.
