John was always the elegant gentleman, I was honored to be his ROTC sponsor when we were at Baker and he was thoughtful and kind and always there with offers to help. I always thought he would be career military, he seemed to love the life. He will be missed, but we still hold on to our warm memories. My heart reaches out for the family.
