JoAnn Curtis October 18, 1948 - July 10, 2009 PHENIX CITY, AL — JoAnn Curtis, 60, of Phenix City, AL died Friday, July 10, 2009 at The Medical Center according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel. Mrs. Curtis was born October 18, 1948 in Aberdeen, MD to the late John and Josephine Wood Delaney. She retired from civil service at Ft. Benning, GA as a secretary after many years of dedicated service. We will miss her presence daily but her memory will live forever in our hearts. Mrs. Curtis is survived by one daughter, Diane Curtis of Opelika, AL; one son, John Curtis of Phenix City, AL; one sister, Judy Delaney of Columbus; one half sister, Johnny Wood of Corinth, MS; and one granddaughter, Raina Josephine Elizabeth Curtis of Opelika, AL.
