Tammy Chapman (MaGill) (1989)

I am one of the daughters of Eddy Chapman. My father lived in Baldwin FL. where he worked as a correctional officer for Jacksonville Mens Prison. He loved his job at the prison and he even made friends with one of the inmates, that later saved his life. It was his life passion to work in corrections. Eddy had a loving wife Ina Jean Chapman, two daughters, Tammy Chapman MaGill. Sharon Chapman West, one son James Chapman Jr., and two step daughters, Valorie and Karen. My father started having health problems in 1988. The health problems caused him to retire early. Eddy was in and out of the hospital for the next 19 years. Then on July 20, 2007 he went home to be with God. I was at his side along with my brother and two step sisters, and his wife. My father was a God fearing person when he went home to the Lord.
