I send my sincere condolences  to the family of Milton .  It was the 1966 basketball season that Milton Caffey took a young  Sophomore under his wing and allowed me to become a small part in that great 1966 team. I will never forget the soft tone of his voice of encouragement that would always settle me down. The starting 5 is getting smaller by the day and only in time will  Bubba have us all together again. Rest in Peace Milton your work  on earth is done. You were a great teammate. Thank you! --------STOKES---------------1968--------------

This is such a heartbreaking loss. My deepest condolences to the Caffey family. Milton and I were classmates and Rice Street neighbors and playmates. I loved his family and spent many hours at his home during our teen years. Watching him and all of "Coach Ball's big ugly boys" play basketball is one of my greatest memories of our years at Baker. Rest In Peace my sweet friend.

Milt was a great teammate and an even better person. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and blessed to have played on the same team with him. He was a gentle soul and he left his mark on a lot of people in his lifetime including myself. He was just a great guy.

Milton was a kind and gentle soul and a pretty good basketball player.  I enjoyed the times we had together at Baker even though I was only there our senior year!  I'm sure he made indelible influences on his students, his players and his friends just like he did with us, the BHS Class of 1966!  Blessings and Peace to the family!
