Went to nursing school in Phenix City Alabama. Graduated in 1971 while being a single mom of three young toddlers. Lived in Columbus during that time. Met my now husband Jerry Nowels who was a graduate of the military academy at West point class of 1963. He was in the artillery battalion stationed at Ft Benning.We married in 1972 . He was the best thing that ever happened to me. Our son Brad was born in 1974. Jerry adopted my other three young son.We left the military moved to Pennsylvania where we lived for 14 years. Jerry worked for Proctor and Gamble. We moved to orlando in 1988. I started work at Orlando Regional medical center where I have worked in Cardiac recovery for the over 20 years, and love my job. Will plan for retirement with in the next 2-3 years God willing.

Met some good people who have stayed my friends. I am sure I will have surprised most of my teachers. School was not my stromg suit. Mrs. Stallings I made it. I have to sisters that graduated several years after. Diana Leon DeGroot,and Linda Leon Sanders. I am sure you will hear from them in the future or see them at one of the reunions.
