I'll always remember Jimmy as my best friend while I attended Baker from 1961 through 1963.  We were fanatic bowlers those days and used to "pot bowl"  (bowling for money) against the soldiers on post at Ft Benning.  We usually won since Jimmy could out bowl nearly anybody.

Rest in peace, Jimmy

Rob

My most recent memory of Jimmy is from the 2000 reunion.  The place was packed, with everyone drinking, eating, dancing, visiting.  Despite the rules, Jimmy lit up a cigarette right there at the table.  Some things never change.  See you soon, Jimmy.

Friendship, Frolic and Fun adventures with Jimmy are some of my best memories from Baker High.  Yes, beer drinking and his wild GTO were part of our friendship.  The three Amigos were Jimmy, Jimmy Weaver and myself.  We had many laughs, especially when meeting people and introducting ourselves as Jimmy, Jimmy and Jimmy.  I'm especially grateful that his driving skills probably saved my life during our high school years.  Rest in peace, Jimmy.

Best Friends Forever,

Jimmy Waldrep
