Thanks to all who have shared memories about John -- like his oh-so-funny Brother Dave impersonations and the bonding through ROTC times at Baker.  They bring back images of who and how he was when after college he traipsed through those Agent-Orange-defoliated jungle sites in Viet Nam that ultimately influenced how he died decades later.  This weekend we will be placing his ashes in a niche at the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C., where his eventual designation will show "Remembered in Love."  John didn't want a formal funeral, but I'll share your memories with the members of his family who will be with us at the private memorial we're having. My best wishes to all of you for continued good health and mutual fondness for the good times we all shared at some point. Although all our bodies will be gone someday, it seems to me that memories keep us present at least a bit longer for those who knew us.  My personal remembrance in love to all of you, Cindy Rush Preston
