Lonnie DiCarlo passed away on Jan. 6 in Decatur, Georgia, after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Lonnie's selfless gift of participating in clinical trials to benefit those who come after her is exemplary of her character. She leaves her son Mac and daughter Michelle and many, many friends and relatives. Lonnie was a dear friend and I will miss her always, but sweet memories of girlhood fun and our days together at Baker will help me cope with her passing. Rest in peace, dear friend. Jeanette Pierce
Today would have been Lonnie's 67th Birthday, and we remember her, as we do each day, with Love and special memories. Lonnie passed away January 2009 and the world has been emptier without her. Please clarify that her name was Luana May DiCarlo (Baker class of 1965).
As her sister, I followed her around Baker during the 1963 - 1965 years we attended and enjoyed the guidance my big sister provided. Those were special days and years and Friends and memories from the magic of Baker High.
