Danny Wayne Olive, class of 1964, passed away Friday March 20th at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, Georgia.

Danny Wayne Olive June 12, 1946 - March 20, 2009 COLUMBUS, GA — Danny Wayne Olive, 62, of Columbus, GA died at St. Francis Hospital, Friday, March 20, 2009. A celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Olive was born June 12, 1946 in St. Louis, MO son of the late Wilson R. Olive and Thelma Price Olive.  He was an engineer for the City of Columbus.   Mr. Olive will be remembered as a man of few words, however, a man of his word. Survivors include his son, Patrick Olive of Columbus, GA; a brother, Mike ÒHollywoodÓ Olive of Columbus, GA; a nephew, Shane Olive and a niece, Tabatha Olive both of Columbus, GA; many friends.
