Augusta, GA.- Peggy Maureen O'Shea, formerly Peggy Lehner,age 64, of Columbus died January 18 after a long struggle with a debilitating disease.She was cremated.
A native of Columbus, Peggy was the daughter of the late C.D. Lehner and Stella Lehner. She was a 1964 graduate of Baker High School and went on to graduate from Grady School of Nursing in Atlanta. After serving in the U.S.A.F. as a flight nurse, she worked in the coronary care unit as a cardiac nurse for years, before becoming disabled.
She was formerly married to Dr. George T. Abernathy of Atlanta. They had no children.
She is survived by two sisters, Laraine Kendall of Jupiter, FL and Catherine Brown of Albuquerque, N.M. and one brother, Walter Lehner of Alabama.
