Jimmy Sizemore, 64, of Owens Cross Roads died Thursday at a local hospital.
Mr. Sizemore was the local gunsmith for many years. He was a member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic Team and a member of four World Championship teams.
Mr. Sizemore is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joan M. Sizemore; son, Jamie Sizemore and wife Connie; sister, Lorena Shaheen; brother, Lamar Sizemore; two nieces, Carol Eller and Carmen Sizemore; and four nephews, Russell Shaheen, Charlie Sizemore, Kenney Shaheen, and Art Smith.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today.  (Published in the Huntsville Times on August 15, 2009)
