Ronald W. Johnson, 67, of Abilene, passed away on September 10, 2012 at his residence in Abilene. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 14 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5410 Buffalo Gap Road, with Monsignor Fred Nawarskas of Holy Family Catholic Church officiating, directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home. Ronald Wayne Johnson was born in Andalusia, Alabama on July 18, 1945. His parents were J. W. and Myrtle (Rowell) Johnson. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carol (Myer) Johnson. He is survived by his son, Robert Johnson of Giddings, Texas, his sister, Jackie Tucker and her husband Fred, niece Holly Martin and husband Lanham of Moran, Texas and their children Jeff of Illinois, Sara of North Carolina, Erica of Cisco, and Elizabeth of Moran. Also surviving is a nephew Brian Tucker and wife Christi and their children, Michelle, Wesley and Jayton all of Eastland.
