Knew JC from elementary school.  A gritty and courageous competitor whom I was proud to have by my side.  He remained in Georgia while I moved and remained in the West.  His absence was always somewhere in the memories of our shared youth.  His loss is deeply felt.  --hrs

I called him James in high school. We were in the same homeroom. I can still see him because he made such a great impression on me. James was so friendly and genuine! I moved back to Columbus 21/2 years ago and it is my loss that I didn't reconnect with him. I'm sure he was a great educator!!! He was a natural! His family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers at this hard, hard time!

I too remember Jim from our high school days at Baker.  He was always friendly and a quiet person, someone I could relate to.  So sorry to learn of his death.  RIP my friend.

I am very much saddened to hear of james passing.   We became friends at the Boys Club when I started my career there and he was my boss.A great guy, whom I admired very much.  He loved his "girls" and was always proud to show their pictures and brag a lot about them.   You will be missed james Crowson. It was and is an honor to have know you and be a part of my life.
