Phenix City, Alabama- Sharon M. Mains, age 69, resident of Phenix City, AL., died on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Thursday, June 7, 2012, 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 5-7 p.m.
Mrs. Mains, daughter of the late Raymond Charles Crowley and Betty Larue Bannon Crowley, was born February 20, 1943 in Youngstown, OH. She was retired from Kinnett Dairies where she worked faithfully for over 22 years. Mrs. Mains was Catholic by faith, an avid gardener, and enjoyed making holiday cards.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Mains of Phenix City, AL; one daughter, Debbie Hughes and her husband Willie of Fortson, GA; two step-sons, David Phillips and his wife Jo of Columbus, and Mark Mains and his wife Cindy of Phenix City, AL; one brother, Michael Crowley of Orange Beach, AL; five grandchildren, Lauren, Dylan, Zachary, Anthony, and Melissa; other relatives and friends.
