Charlotte Houston Goeringer

COLUMBUS, GEORGIA- Charlotte Houston Goeringer, age 67, passed away on April 11, 2011. Graveside services will be held at Morris Cemetery in Morris, AL on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 12:00 PM.
Ms. Goeringer was born on November 3, 1943, to the late David L. Houston and Helen Rickels Houston in Warrior, AL. She was a graduate of Baker High School and had worked in the local hospitals as a Medical Records Keeper. More recently she worked at Jack T. Rutledge State Prison as a Records Keeper. Ms. Goeringer loved music and never forgot anyone with whom she came in contact. She was a loving mother, grandmother, niece and friend who will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Kate Goeringer of Franklin, TN; her grandson, Jake Goeringer; her aunt, Jerry Ehrgood of Columbus; a nephew, David Huie of Kennesaw, GA, as well as a host of cousins and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made in Charlotte's name to the Stewart Community Home, 1125 15th Street, Columbus, GA 31901.
