Mary Anne McManus - She was born in Macon, Georgia on 5 November 1943. Her Parents were Francis G. & Mary McCoy McManus. She was an X-ray technician at DeKalb General Hospital, Decatur. Believe she had been asigned to the Fort Benning MASH Unit to conduct some training. She and a Co-worker, Carol A. Wilkes of Forest Park, Ga. were in a head on collision on Ft. Benning at a intersection when they were hit. Car busrt in flames and both died. This was on 4 September 1967. At the time she was survived by her parents and a brother, John W. McManus. Mary was a member of Our Lady of Lords Catholic Church. As of today 26 April 2012, her parents and brother have passed on.
