Horace 'Mac' McCord June 3, 1943-May 4, 2014
DALLAS, GA- Horace Z. McCord, age 70 of Dallas, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 04, 2014. He was born June 03, 1943 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace and Lois McCord.
He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a car salesman with Buy Here Pay Here Auto Sales from which he later retired.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Joan Merritt McCord; and a son, Duane J. McCord.
Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Scott and Allison McCord of Dallas, Georgia; sisters, Velida Madden of Villa Rica, and Arnetta McCord of Los Angeles, California; and a number of nephews.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 145 South Wilson Street, Villa Rica, Ga. 30180.
