Patricia Nell Ethridge
(January 29, 1943 - March 9, 2011)

Patricia Nell Ethridge, resident of Ponca City, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at OSU Medical Center with her family by her side. She was 68.

The service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 14, 2011, at the Northeast Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Ratliff, officiating. Burial will then follow at the Resthaven Memorial Park in Ponca City, OK 74604. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Patricia “Trit” was born on January 29, 1943, to Greer Lamar Ramsey and Alma Nell (Yancey) Ramsey in Columbus, Georgia. She was raised in Columbus, Georgia. She was married to John Ethridge on May 7, 1965 in Columbus, Georgia. She was a homemaker in her own home. She was involved in her four grandsons activities, who were the light of her life. She loved going to church, especially loved her Sunday School class. Trit had a great love for gardening and flowers. She enjoyed baking and being with her family, taking pictures and loved scrapbooking. She is survived by her husband John L. Ethridge of the home, Two Daughters; Melony Ethridge Westerman and her husband Steve of Collinsville, OK; and Leslie Ethridge Leaming of Newkirk, OK. Four Grandsons: Josh Westerman of Stillwater, OK; Zach Westerman and Connor Westerman of Collinsville, OK; and Garette Leaming of Newkirk, OK. Two sisters Diane Woodruff of Dothan, Alabama, Rudy and Charlene Hayes of Americus, GA, and one sister-in-law, Rhonda Ethridge of Lagrange, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, one son-in-law, Gary Leaming; two brothers-in-law, Gene Woodruff and James Ethridge. Casketbearers will be grandsons, Josh Westerman, Zach Westerman, Connor Westerman, Garette Leaming, and nephews, John Ethridge, Mark Woodruff, Chad Woodruff, and John Hayes. Honorary Casketbearers will be brother-in-law Rudy Hayes, and nephews David Turner, Franklin “Woody” Woodruff, Herb Brantley and Dennis Hudson.
