 Hoyt M. Peavy Retired FBI agent Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, 73 Mr. Hoyt M. Peavy, 73, of Nutley, N.J., passed away from complications due to Alzheimer's on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Ave., on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, at 10:15 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Lucy's Church, Newark, N.J., at 11:30 a.m. The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Mr. Peavy was born in Cordele, Ga., and resided in Nutley for 45 years. He was an FBI agent, Newark bureau, and served on the FBI SWAT team before retiring in 1998. Mr. Peavy received a bachelor of science degree in political science in 1964 and a law degree in 1966 from the University of Georgia. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Marie (nee Rotunda) Peavy; his devoted children, Mark Peavy and his wife, Alli, and Cristine Peavy, and his cherished grandson, Jake.
