Thomas Ronald "Ronnie" Mann was born June 18, 1933. He died

May 2, 2018. He passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00PM in Porter Chapel of First Baptist Church, 212 12th Street Columbus, Georgia. Family will visit with friends from 1:00PM until time of the service in Porter Chapel. Burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery. Ronnie was born in Columbus, Georgia, he was in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He studied at the University of Georgia, where he met his wife Judy Reid. After graduation he worked at Crawford and Company Claim Adjusters, retiring after 35 years. He continued his service with the Company's "CAT Team" where he traveled part time. He was an avid member at First Baptist Church. Volunteering at the Food Bank, driving the cart and many other tasks. He enjoyed all sports, golf being his favorite. Ronnie was a devoted Georgia Bulldog Fan, and loved going to Columbus minor league baseball games being a ticket holder for over 30 years. He served on the Board for CSU athletics, and supported all CSU sports. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and friends going to the River Center and Springer. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Victor "TV" Mann, his mother, Estelle "Stell" Grubbs, brother, James Theodore "Teddy" Mann, and sister, Mary Ann Mixon. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Judy Reid Mann; daughters: Catherine "Cathy" Mann Dulohery and Stacie Mann Hall, her husband Chuck. His grandkids: Tommy Hall, Haley Ryan Dulohery, Reid Hall; and several nieces and nephews.

He has effected many lives with his giving nature and his smile that always Welcomed you. His greatest love was First Baptist Church and his pastor, Dr. Jimmy Elder. He loved spending time with his grandkids, wife and daughters.
The family would like to thank Jimmy Elder, Pastor; Columbus Hospice including Katie Mixon, Dr. Murdock, and Dr. Forrester.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to give donations to First Baptist Church or the Second Story Ministry of First Baptist Church.

The honorary pallbearers are members of First Baptist Church Fellowship Sunday School Class. Active pallbearers, Jim White, Ashton Smith, Lamar Beck, Wayne Hardy, Joe Waller and Don Smith.
