Gwen Fowler (Setayesh) (1975)

My heartfelt prayers are with all family members at this time. Ralph was a very nice

guy in high school. I remember him being rather quite "until" you got to know him,

then his quirky funny side came out! His jokes during science & history class just

cracked me up. I hope that the school that he taught at during his life people

remember & do a memorial in his honor so that his good qualities will live on there.

His life is not a loss but rather heavens gain! We from BHS will remember you Ralph!

God bless those of his family members that remain. And to his brother that graduated

in 76, I hope we see you at this years "all school" reunion to share some memories.

BHS class 75;

Gwen Fowler-Setayesh

Michael 'Mike' Feehan (1973)

Ralph and I were as think as thieves during my last year at Baker. I was a junior and had to move away that next year for my senior year (due to my dad's miliary reassignment). But Ralph and I both played trumpet in the band and had many misadventures together after school, since we only lived a few blocks from each other. We then went on to different colleges, and  I went into the military, so Ralph and I lost contact over the years. I just recently found this Baker High alumni web site, and looked him up. I am pleased but not surprised that Ralph went on to academic accomplishment and to be such a well-liked and respected teacher. I also very much liked his mother, and I was sorry to hear that she had also passed away previosuly. I remember his brother Mike, and hope all is well for Mike. I know that Ralph will be missed greatly. Rest in peace.

I am sorry to learn, just today, of Ralph's passing. His brother Mike was a good friend of mine and I knew his family well. Ralph was so very smart and I was happy to read of his many academic accomplishments. He touched so many lives! :-) Mike, I am sorry for your loss. Hope to see you at the upcoming reunion.
