Obituary:
Mr. Robert Warren Paulk, age 64, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta, following injuries he obtained from a fall at his home during the recent ice storm. He was born November 16, 1946 in Savannah, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Warren Alexander Paulk and Mrs. Annie Jack Thompson Paulk. Mr. Paulk was a member of the Methodist Faith. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Linda Clark on June 20, 1970 in Columbus, Georgia. He earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from the Atlanta Law School. He worked as a self employed emission inspector. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and tennis. He was devoted to his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Warren Paulk, II in 1991. He is survived by his wife, Linda Clark Paulk of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley Paulk Galloway and her husband William Galloway of Columbus, GA; his mother, Annie Jack Thompson Paulk; grandchildren, Alexa Galloway, David Galloway, and Reid Galloway. Memorial Services will be conducted at a later date at ST. Mark United Methodist Church in Columbus, Georgia. In accordance to his wishes the body was cremated.
