Danny was my manager at Blue Cross in Atlanta. He became a good friend. I can remember the day I came in to work and they told me Danny had died that night. Terry Howard

I met Danny through a mutual friend, Mike Glaser. We were friends in high school, but I really got to know Danny when he, Mike and I carpooled to Columbus College in 1967-68. He became a close friend and we socialized a good bit, even dating sisters at one time. He and Mike transfered to UGA their junior year and I would travel to Athens to party with them on weekends that year. Danny transfered back to Columbus College his senior year, graduating wth a degree in Education. We kept in touch, but he was teaching and I was still in school so we slowly drifted apart.

Danny had an ascerbic wit shared by Mike and me. He, Mike and I had great fun verbally assaulting one another. He was a very sharp dressed man, always on the fashion forefront. He drove a 1965 baby blue Barracuda, for which he was teased considerably.

I last saw Danny when he was Asst. Principal at an elementary school on Cussetta Rd. Not long after that he changed professions to become an administrator at Blue Cross/Blue Shield, joining his good friend and Baker classmate,Tommy Hudson.

I ran into Danny's first wife, Daisy at the Sears Columbus Square closing in 2002 and she told me Danny had passed away suddenly of an anyrism just weeks before, leaving behind a wife and two small children.

While Danny and I were not close in later years, I will always remember the great times we had together at Baker and especially later during our college years.
