Dear Lions & Lioness:

 First, let me wish all a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Sandye and I.  We had another great quarterly luncheon.  We had 140 in attendance and 9 first for the first time.  Many drove long distance and some flew all the way from Tacoma, WA.  The most senior attending was Coach Ball, age 95 and he is having a hard time getting around.  If you wish to call Coach Bubba Ball his number is 706-561-4064.  I am sure that he will welcome your greetings.  We celebrated with great joy but also some sadness in my part as we are loosing too many Lions especially that attended our luncheons. Many THANKS to our volunteers that made this luncheon possible: James (Bumpy) Lanier ’59, Ish Espada ‘71, Deby (Strong) Crain ’71, James Massey ’60, Charlene (James) Rhodes ’66, Cindy (Fucci) Johns ’65, Gwennette (Johnson) Garner ’64 and Sandye (Johnson) Nazario ’64.  If I have forgotten some I apologize.

The fundraiser for Roy and Teresa Cook was a success many thanks to Bobby Campbell ’65 Who led in this effort.  The winner of the guitar was Janelle (Moore) Grice ’62.

 After you get through watching and laughing at the video especially when singing next December before our Christmas luncheon we will have to practice our Christmas carols verses for next year.
