Sept 17, 2012 Luncheon

It was just like the other luncheons as when Baker High Lions get together. We had 137 Lions attend the luncheon. 17 were first time attendants. Some have not seen each other in so many years. I heard the comment that It hard to recognize others because they don’t look like they did in school. I cannot imagine looking like a 69 year old in 1961. It was a well spirited gathering as all of the others in the past. As in past luncheons, many drove from large distances and just looking forward to getting together with their Baker friends. I did not introduce each as I normally do in the videos and the reason was that I had a cold, did not want others to catch it and I wanted to recover since Sandye and I are leaving on a cruise with the class of 1962 on October 10, 2012. Thanks to Bumpy Lanier ’59 for introducing most and Cindy (Fucci) Johns ’65 for taking pictures. Many thanks also to the registration table volunteers and tip lady that made it all possible. I hope that you enjoy the 14 short videos and you can make a comment of how we can improve them. I am hoping that we will have a much larger crowd in December’s luncheon so mark it on your calendar. I have downloaded new luncheon pictures on the website but have not had the opportunity to name them. Thanks.
