Katy Jessee Chambers, a 1969 Baker High School graduate, has passed away. Her senior year, she was the head majorette.

A memorial service is being held Monday, June 2, from 5-7 at McMullen Funeral Home.

Her beautiful smile and outgoing personality will be missed.

Katy was a dol in high school; she taught my sister and me to twirl the baton "back in the day" at the old pink mansion on South Lumpkin Road. RIP, sweet angel...
