Hello Bakerville!

Rodney...A casino trip is on my bucket list!

Roy...Thank you but Mike didn't have the arteriogram today.  After he got all prepped they came in & said his doctor had to do an emergency surgery that was expected to take 5-6 hrs. We could wait or reschedule. We decided to reschedule.

Rodney I am so glad you are ok.

I thought maybe the GC was pouring concrete while you were sleeping and maybe Sherrell  payed him a little to cover you up in the basement.

I too missed the news of Glenn's passing...sad to hear...i got to be pretty good friends with him over the last 5 or 6 years and he was one of those you could put on the list as..."One of the good guys"

RIP my friend..

PETE...funny you should mention cement...i was wondering why Sherrell asked the cement guy to leave her an extra bag of quit drying cement...dont know what in the hell she would want with it...

Rodney,Rodney,Rodney.....Check Life Ins.Policy....Increase in coverage over the last few months? She is such a sweet woman(I only throw that in there so she does not give Denise any ideas).Caution is advised.

For the longest time that green ,sweet  tasting drink  Denise was giving me tasted good ,then someone told me they heard someone was convicted of killing their husband by giving him Antifreeze.

Man I freaked out turns out It was just some Male enhancement herb, what ever that is.She seems to be smiling more lately ,heck so am I .Actually I am  still drinking the green sweet tasting drink.

So where were we ....oh yea .... how are the Home Improvements coming along.

Happy Sunday morning Baker Lions--

It's a little chilly in good 'ole Lion Country with rain most of the morning--but--Lions will still ROAR--

March--has decided to march right into my bank account---new tires and the 90,000 mile junk--whatever that is--all I know is it took all day---and a lot of money--ugh--but they did give me a loaner---a brand new Chrysler 200S or something like that---kind of nice--had all the bells and whistles--freaked me out--hahaha--this old Lion is slow at learning new tricks--

It is good to see all the posts--glad the fun is back--I have missed it so much--come on Lions jump in---

Blessings and prayers for all Lions, their Lion Cubs and their Lion families--

ROAR LOUD AND ROAR PROUD--

Hello Bakerville!

Rodney...Hope you had a great birthday!

Pete...ask Denise to message me her recipe for the green drink please...after all St. Paddy's Day is right around the corner.

Wendy...they probably gave you the luxury loaner so you will put your money into buying one.

Looks like this last week of winter is going to be a cold one!

Thank yall for the Birthday wishes...

this one was a very special Birthday for me because I kinda celebrated my birthday with Sherrell's sister Gail who's birthday is the day before mine.  Gail starts Chemo again on Tuesday for a study being done by Emory University.  Gail knows that the chemo treatments arent going to help her at her stage, but she agreed to participate in the study so that maybe sometime in the future they may have learned some things that might help other folks.

Pretty damn gutsy decision on her part.

We had a great time and hopefully she will be around to celebrate her birthday with me next year.

I'm not Irish so I wore UGA red today.

I did see Dennis Howard and Chuck Walker and his lovely wife downtown tonight.

I hope everyone has a good week-end.

Why...o why do they call it the final four when it last for FOUR months. Final means the end after four anything. Four course meal or for the life of me.. I forgot. Or my favorite....FORE PLAY. I think that has something to do with girl parts from back in the day.

Either way my friends. Basketball is really ...really boring and you can not play unless you have more tats than the circus lady or have profuse sweating down to a art.

Nascar is dead. Has been since Dale hit the wall in Daytona. Over paid and under balled drivers with way to much concern for finishing a race than winning one. Think you big corporate money.

Now Pro football. I broke a finger nail. My knee got a scrape. I think I hurt my head. A big bully on the other team called my a wuss. I can't go on camera.. I got helmit hair.

Soccer.. you guys get a pass. Any damn thing that can run that long on only two legs and get elbowed and kicked in the nuts and only get a little card and a three minute break. That gets this rednecks vote for a good sport played by real folks who do not get a fifth of what our pros get money wise.

I think I am done. Me

Hello Bakerville!

HAHAHA!  I'm with you Rodney---Waiting to hear Harry's take on Hockey, Golf, & fishing too!  Or better yet, my favorite sport---sitting on the beach, in a comfy chair under an umbrella!  Oh yes---w/ a cold beverage!

Thanks Marion! I might try to get down for to the lunch for a few minutes but if I don't ya'll have fun!

Please keep Mike in your prayers!  He is having he rescheduled arteriogram in the morning.

I am kinda good on hockey as a real sport. At least they keep playing even if they bleed. Sorta like rasslin on ice skates. Lots of old time violence.

Fishing is Gods gift to the lazy man/woman. Greatest way to relax on this earth. And it is still a sport. I guess unless yer the fish. It got even better when God invented beer to go along with it. You only need one hand to hold a fishing pole. There is a reason for that.

Any ideas on a get togeather yet. Spring is almost here.

Love you Lions. Me

Hello Bakerville!

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts & prayers for Mike!  He is doing good. He had a little setback but he had a great nurse that was on top of things.  The stent in his thigh was almost completely blocked & they used a large amount of blood thinner on top of what he already takes. We were there longer than they originally thought & he had to stay laying flat longer but problem was resolved. We got to go home & so far so good.

Thanks again,

Pat

Ok why is it if I post here from my phone it doesn't give me the option to change size, font, or color?

Rodney...Mike is doing very well. He is a typical man though & doesn't always follow instructions from his special nurse (me) & keeps insistiNG on sponge baths! (Just kidding)

Wendy...I know what you mean about the pollen. When Carter was leaving for school this morning he said "Nana...your voice is different". I told him it was the old allergies.

Hey all.

Ready for some nice warm weather.

For all of you that do not have a Specialty degree in Interpretive Language Translation.

Special Nurse (me) - We role play I have a NURSES OUTFIT.

InsistiNG on sponge baths- please notice the CAPITALIZATION of "NG"....DEFINITELY A FREUDIAN SLIP. The "LETTERS "are getting bigger.

Just kidding = twice a day.

Well heck yea Rodey, Mike is doing very well.

I wish I was a " TYPICAL MAN"

(even came back and corrected my spelling Mr.Liebendorfer would be proud)).

PETER....i had a hard enough time with English 101..so i will defer to your Interpretive Language Translation degree....but you did give me a good idea..

...i am thinking i am probably gonna come down with some injury or ailment before Sherrell gets home that is gonna need a sponge bath theraphy routine for a few days.
