And when they said Marion was a Senior , I thought they meant it was her 4 th. year in High School.

So that means she is what 17 - 18? Who knew , she's 21? WOW......

Good morning Baker Lions---

Brr-rr is right Rodney--shouldn't be this cold in Lion Country--I for one will be happy to see spring--do not like freezing and below temperatures--

Haven't posted here in a while--but I have checked in and read the posts--where are all the Lions--come on Lions--check in---let us know what you have been up to--tell us about your Lion Cubs--

My Lion Cubs are all doing really good--Abbie is driving--and she is a good driver--proud of her--Emmie Grace is now taking pointe at dance--we used to call it--toe--haha--and Shawn is Shawn--he takes after his PaPa--likes to take things apart and put them back together---knows a good bit about cars--and loves his model trains--Yes---this Lion is a proud GaGa--

Blessings and prayers for all Lions, their Lion Cubs and their Lion families--

ROAR LOUD AND ROAR PROUD-

Still Roaring---Class of '70 Wendy Guenther Mock

Well well well..since the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE) and grandchildren were brought up, I wanted to pass along this little tid bit....

My Granddaughter Kayla has been selected to the University of Alabama High School Honor Band for the 2017/2018 school year!!!!!

She was the only Freshman selected!

She will get to go to the Campus of Alabama in February to be honored and perform with the other High School kids who have been selected.

This will be the 4th College Honor Band she has been selected to this year.  She has already been honored at Auburn Universtiy (BOOOO)...Troy State and the University of South Alabama.

Way to go KAYLA!!!

You are right PETER...she certainly didnt get it from me...I know 3 chords and i play two of them real bad.

i think she actually got it from her Mama, my middle daughter Laura Leigh, she played French Horn in the band in Jr High and High School and Kayla grew up saying she wanted to do the same thing.

We actually have another Granddaughter and Grandson who play in their school's band too.

Rodney for mayor!!! Congrats my good friend. We know you will do a great job cause you and Roy most likely love Baker High more than anyone I know. No offense intented to everyone who loves our old school.

I know I have been lax in posting anything for a while but I am going thru a old man crisis. I want a sports car and hair and hearing  and be able to see the difference between a Big Foot  and a pile of leaves in my back yard.

I LOVE all you folks and I am so proud to be a small part of the Baker family.

We are truly blessed.

Me.
