Hey Rodney do you like the new NCIS? Not me so much but I do like the new show Bull. Also if you have not seen Designated Survior it is certainly worth your time.

I have been keeping up with some of you by trolling the site. Haven't felt like posting for a while. I've had two more surgeries this year but I am feeling ok right now. During the past 1 1/2 years I have lost 60 lbs. and now have the same weight as when I played ball in school and when I completed basic training in the army.

Saw the photo of Don Johnson. My memory if correct of Don is he played football and was on the kickoff team. He seemed to be the first one down field and always hustled. So many good men good friends were lost.

Looks like some nice weather---a few clouds--maybe a slight chance of isolated rain--but that is about it for good 'ole Lion Country--Get out and Roar Lions--

Benny--it is good to see you post---I sure hope you are feeling better---

As far as Don's picture---they have already ordered a new plaque to go with it--and once it is cleaned and hung up in our building I will post a new picture---might be a while because they will probably wait until we have the plaque---I am just so happy that they did not destroy the painting when they found it in a storage room--

Chucks Plumbing,BHS Grad. Chuck Walker and his team found and fixed the problem, very quickly and in a professional manner. And reasonable price.

Disaster Services out of Pine Mt. did the water mitigation, also quick response and very professional.Great price.

Serve pro did the demo and repairs.Started Monday will finish today.Walk thru this afternoon.Good job by the fellows that did the work.

USAA Insurance Company,Sent checks,And kept informed on status, also a Big Thank-You to them.

It in incouraging to see there is still pride in work and professionalism.

heck, the guy loads up a big ol' backhoe and brings it out there on an off day and volunteers not only his equipment but his offtime too.....

i dont know if we would have ever got that flagpole up or not, without him.

Daddy seems to be doing a little better. He should be in rehab until at least next Friday. He seems to be ok with being there which is surprising but Monday mornings episode really scared him.  We really appreciate the prayers & good thoughts!

Hope to see some Lions soon!

We are still alive and well. Coming into town next thursday and gonna stay till some time Sunday. What ya'll wanna do. Pam is getting her hair done but I usually do mine myself. Gotta do my flag thing next weekend for Veterans day cause I won't be there for the holiday.

Hug a Vet or kiss a Vet or my favorite thing to do. Bye a Vet a beer. We are not all John Wayne but by God we suited up for the game and would do it again if we had to. GOD BLESS ALL WHO SERVED.

Pray for America.

Love my LIONS.

Rodney, there are a lot of big machines digging up the lot your Dad's drive-in stood on.  Go out there and take care of that situation.  I don't know if that lot is going to be part of the new Spencer High.  I thought the new school was going to be about a quarter mile south of the drive-in.  They oughta commemorate the drive-in with a sign, or something, maybe an electric sign that shows a car rocking back and forth.

Great news about our marker. Bout time it went home. Thanks Roy for taking care of our heritage. You are Baker High as far as I am concerned, We all owe you so much. I will be there for sure this Sat. Besides I need to get some beer, 30 weight oil, a hair net and something nice for Pam. I guess the short walk won't kill me.

Rod man. I ain't saying for sure but there just might be 'some things' at your dads old drive-in buried in that dirt that are not bio degradable and might just bring back some awkward memories for a few of us. That could be a hard thing to talk to the grand kids about. I ain't talking about me mind you but it is something to think about.

Love ya'll and hope to see a lot of ya'll at Baker Mart this Sat.

MIKE D and HARRY....we better not go digging up anything at my Dad's old Drive-In...best leave well enough alone...(we ALL could be implicated)...but ohhhhhhhh some of the stories i could tell...aint gonna name no names, you know who you are....lol

MIKE D...from my understanding, pretty much the old Drive In property, back to Old Cusseta Road and back down all the way to old Muscogee Elementary will eventually be the site of the new Spencer High School and a new school district, " sports complex"...i havent heard the paticulars but i would think they are talking about a new stadium maybe??

the irony of the whole deal is.....They built a place for people to work on the site where I used to go to school....

and now they are building a school on the site where i used to work....

who would have thunk it...

See yall Saturday for the rededication of the Historic Marker...

Won't be back for long as we're headed to California for Thanksgiving and plan to see Kenny Odom while we're there. Can't get enough of this traveling. Too many places to see and photograph...and lots of old friends to hang with.....hope all goes well Saturday.

Rod man. I thought Spencer High had a fairly new high school out towards Fort Benning. Our high school lasted since WW2 and we never even had air condition or very few splash toilets that worked on a regular basis. A sport complex. My God' I am so glad I am old.

Bill you have a good time out west but you better hurry. Snow/ice is on the way.

Hope to see all of our Lions Saturday.
