Columbus, GA- Gary Dwight Wilbourn, 63, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Jimbo Albrecht and Rev. Pat Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Wilbourn was born December 26, 1953 in Ft. Benning, GA son of the late John C. and Flora Jordan Wilbourn. He worked for 42 years as a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Post Office. He loved Sams Club, fishing, camping, gardening and his family.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sabrina Harris Wilbourn of Columbus, GA, son, William Wilbourn (Christen) of Columbus, GA, step-daughters, Sirjourney Anthony of Columbus, GA and Chasity Magann of Ft. Bragg, NC, sisters, Jeanne Warren of Dallas, TX and Catherine Dawson (Gordon) of Cincinnati, OH, brother, Mike Wilbourn (Debbie) of Phenix City, AL, 3 grandchildren, Hailee Anna, Kaden and Evie Kate, and his favorite dog, Chloe.
