I recall John, though it was only Senior year. I pray his family is doing well and will carry his love the rest of their days.

I, too, only knew John for a very short time at BHS; as of his coming there with us and his love of sports. Always thought a lot of him, the way he conducted himself and his participation at the school. As with all of our '72 class (and all other classes, as well) I will miss him and all of our other past friends who have gone before us. Makes us realize just how precious life really is, since our time as young men and women - not yet knowing what was laying in wait for our futures. Makes ME realize just how time has passed by... God Bless to all and to America as a whole... Robert Ambrose (Class of '72)

John n I went to grade school together so I knew him for a while. Every time I would see him he would ask me when you gonna grow up. I don't know how tall he was but I was 5 feet n he looked like a giant over me. I will miss his smile n silly comments. He always kept you laughing. Rest In Peace my friend

Condolences to his family

John was a very kind person to me at BHS, and I had not seen him since 1972.  I thought about him many times over the years, as enjoyed going to watch him play at our BHS basketball games, and was with him in a couple classes.  Was very sad to hear of his passing this year (2020), and he had a very impressive career, which was so great to read.  Wished him the best always!!  My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time!
