Sandra Mae Hand

Phenix City, AL- Sandra Mae Hand, 75, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her home February 5, 2016. Mrs. Hand was born November 25, 1940 in Columbus, GA to her late parents Fred and Marjorie Addison. She had retired as Budget Director at Columbus State University and loved to play Tennis. Her passion was her family, especially her grandchildren who she adored.

A Celebration of Sandra's Life will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 11:00 in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA, followed by a reception with Reverend Anthony Counts officiating.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Hand is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Hand, Sr., and sister, Sonya VAnDaam. She is survived by three sisters, Glenda Ferrieri, Toni Jo McCall, and Margie Lee Reeves; two brothers, Fred Addison, and Rusty Brown; son Cecil Hand, Jr; daughter, Stacy hand St. Cin; grandchildren, Herbert Ward, III, Christopher Addison Ward, Dakota Hand Caldwell, Raquel Rae Hand, and Cecil Armon Hand, III; great grandchildren, Addison Reese Ward, Wallis Hudson Ward, Lillian Ruth Caldwell, Mary Chandler Ward, Charles Lloyd Caldwell; nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
